The next card to be spoiled today by MTG Salvation is a rare double-face card with all the Timmy players of the world in mind:
It looks like the Black/White sacrifice creature archetype just got a brand new toy. Filled with cards like Doomed Traveler, Mausoleum Guard, and Alters Reap, and then topped off power houses like Skirsdag High Priest, Angelic Overseer, and now Ravenous Demon. The drawback of the transformed version of the card (Archdemon of Greed) isn't as bad as it looks at first glace, not even close. As a 9/9 flier with trample, it's a win condition waiting to happen. Chances are, if you time it right, you'll sacrifice one human to bring death from above, and things go according to plan, you'll win the game and never have to sacrifice another human ever again.
As far as Innistrad Constructed decks go, for those keeping count, this is only the 3rd demon introduced in the Innistrad Block. Ravenous Demon now joins Bloodgift Demon and Reaper of the Abyss. (And the 'demon' type is very significant due to the Reaper's ability.) In fact, the Ravenous Demon may be able to act as a morbid enabler for Reaper of the Abyss in the right deck. Not sure how effective it would be, but it's something to think about.
